When MoneyGuide opens for the Client selected in Practifi will land on the My Plan page and list any Financial Plans created earlier. MoneyGuide users will be unable to update these details from within MoneyGuide after Practifi has been implemented as a customer. MoneyGuide intends to enforce that Practifi becomes the source of truth for Client and Contact information. If there are changes in Practifi to the Client or Contact details, these will also be updated in MoneyGuide. If the Practifi Client already exists in MoneyGuide, the MoneyGuide page will be shown. If the Practifi Client did not exist in MoneyGuide when clicking the link, the Client will first be created in MoneyGuide, and then the MoneyGuide page will be shown. The link opens the MoneyGuide portal at the list of plans for the corresponding Client after checking two things: This is the Link to MoneyGuide button placed on the Client record. Only one link is provided from Practifi to MoneyGuide. Using the Integration Linking the Practifi Client to MoneyGuide Once these steps have been completed, the user will be able to, without interruption, click from Practifi to MoneyGuide to view and work with Client records in MoneyGuide. Wait for the completion messages to display. If the user has already logged into MoneyGuide, locate the enrolment link to authorize Practifi and select it. If the user had not already logged on to MoneyGuide, the MoneyGuide login panel will display.Select the Link to My Plan in MoneyGuide link. Log into Practifi first and locate a Practifi Client which should be set up in MoneyGuide.These steps will need to be completed once. The integration requires two logins to set up the user's connection between MoneyGuide and Practifi. Creation and review of Financial Plans are performed solely within MoneyGuide. By design, Practifi is intended to be the source of truth for Client and Member detail information. Updates in MoneyGuide to Client and Members are not synched back. Updates made in Practifi to Client and Member details are synched back to MoneyGuide. If the Client and its Members do not yet exist in MoneyGuide, the record is created immediately in MoneyGuide. Our integration with MoneyGuide allows advisors to open a corresponding Client record in MoneyGuide. Linking the Practifi Client to MoneyGuide.Please note: This functionality will not be available in your organization if the integration has not been enabled. Once the accounts have been mapped you can see the imported accounts under the 'Resources' tab in the profile or in a client's plan.After completing this, select the 'Continue' button. Map the accounts by selecting the accounts to import, the correct account owner, and account type.After selecting the client and accounts, select 'Done'. This will allow you to select the clients and all associated accounts that you want to import into MoneyGuidePro. Enter the client's name and click 'Search'.Select Capitect from the list of available integrations.Go to the client's 'My Plans' page in MoneyGuidePro and select 'Manage Integrations'.Import client accounts from Capitect into MoneyGuidePro. Enter your Capitect User ID and API Key that you saved from step 1, then select 'Done'.Īfter completing the above steps you now have Capitect linked to your MoneyGuidePro account.ģ.Verify that the radio button is set to 'Yes' and then select the 'Add/Edit Capitect API Key' link.
